Christmas Eve

3pm Crib Service at Chrishall

Please join us to take part in a simple retelling of the Nativity Story and 

see how Jesus turns what is sad into glad.

Children, please come dressed as shepherds, sheep, angels or wise men,
to play your part in the story.

11.30pm Holy Communion at Chrishall

Readings: Isaiah 9: 2-7   Luke 2: 1-20

Christmas Day

10am Family Communion Common Worship with Children’s Corner at Great Chishill

Parish Carolling

Thursday 20 December

Once again, Robert Smith has kindly offered to pull a trailer or two around our villages and pubs for our annual carolling.  We will have musical accompaniment and singers led by John Hughes.

A warm welcome at every stop has become a firm favourite in the parish.  Please bring a torch and warm clothes and join in at any stop.  Carol sheets will be provided.

6.15pm                 meet at Elmdon to pick up trailer outside the church ready to depart

6.30pm                 call at The Pheasant

7pm                       stop off at The King William

7.45pm                 gather round the tree at The Red Cow

Finally, returning to Elmdon, c8.45pm, full of bonhomie and festive cheer!
